Bill is a native of Minnesota, a graduate of St. Olaf College in Minnesota, and a fan of most things "Minnesotan" except for the winters. He and his family moved to Davis, CA in 1972 but they maintain and frequently visit a much loved cabin on a lake in north western Minnesota. Bill is often hard pressed to know whether to root for the Vikings or the 49ers! Bill and his wife Jane have four grown children and three grandchildren.

Bill began working in the life and investment segment of the insurance industry in 1961 in Minneapolis where he was a general agent for Berkshire Mutual and later for Mass Mutual. While a general agent he earned his CLU designation from the American College in Pennsylvania.

Since moving to California he has worked as an independent agent/broker specializing in employee benefits, pensions, and retirement planning for individuals and businesses. Bill joined the Rohwer Agency as their benefits specialist in 1996.
